 FIRST FRIDAYS AND THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS     This Friday, September 3 is the first Friday of September.  Some might ask, “So what?” Others might be aware that STEWARDSHIP OF OFFERING Catholics around the world observe special devotions to the   Sacred Heart of Jesus on the First Friday of every month   but have no idea why.  Weekly Offertory 8/22/21 Unbeknownst even by many people who observe First Sunday Collection$ 4,406 Fridays is the fact that devotion to the Sacred Heart of Other Donations (mailed)$ 1,090 Jesus began back in the thirteenth century.
