Does the municipality have a special housing policy for housing in the city centre and on the city fringe?

A special housing policy was established in the 2010 urban plan for Ljubljana which enabled 40,000 new apartments. At that time, the price of an apartment was €3,000/m² (ex- cluding tax) and I can assure you the price of these will cap at €2,000/m², because the city will offer many opportunities for the construction of other new apartments. The housing type isn’t dependent on the municipality, which only prescribes the basic parameters. It is important that anyone building knows who they’re selling to, while the range of builders and dwell- ings must be broad. Ljubljana is a city where there isn’t a great difference in the level of apartments, there are only a few very exclusive apartments. I miss the times when the majority of our population came from the upper middle class according to the Gaussian curve. DIPLOMATIC REGATTA 2017 By Jadralni klub Veter

On Saturday, 9th September, 2017, despite the rain, the four- teenth Diplomatic regatta has concluded in Izola. Diplomats from 32 accredited diplomatic missions and consular posts in Slovenia came to Izola. Despite the weather, the evening event brought together around 500 participants, addressed by Mr. Karl Erjavec, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Repub- lic of Slovenia. Stoja Team prepared a sweet surprise for the visitors of Re- gatta. In corporation with aROMA, gelato experience, Dip- lomatic Ice Cream and Stoja catalogues were distributed among the guests.

On Monday, 5th December 2016, Stoja R.E. hosted a reception on the occasion of the 20-year anniversary of STOJA R.E. Diplomatic Corporate Services in AS Aperitivo, Ljubljana center. We celebrated 20-year anniversary of Stoja’s presence on the Slo- vene real estate market with our partners and friends. We organized the event to show our clients, among which are foreign embassies, foreign and local businesses, foreign representatives, our local own- ers, and many more, how much we appreciate and cherish the con- nections and relationships we have developed over the years. The celebration was accompanied with a tasty culinary experience, fantastic cocktails and drinks and a great program with moderator Ula Furlan and amazing live music. 170

DIPLOMATIC REGATTA 2016 By Jadralni klub Veter

On Saturday 10th September 2016, on a nice and sunny day in Izola, the fourteenth Diplomatic regatta took place. Diplo- mats from 30 accredited diplomatic missions and consular posts in Slovenia came to Izola. In corporation with aROMA, gelato experience, Stoja Team prepared a sweet surprise for the visitors - Diplomatic Ice Cream. On the morning of the event 35 invited guests entered the draw and joined the crew members of the selected boats for the regatta. Among them were six ambassadors and one Member of the European parliament. Other invited guests, have watched the regatta from the accompanying boat which also carried 4 Stoja Team members. 51 boats from six countries registered for the regatta, 46 competed in the racing field in 13 racing categories. The evening event brought together 530 participants, who were addressed by Mr. Karl Erjavec, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia and Mr. Vasilij Žbogar, winner of the silver medal in Rio. A surprise was provided by the Apostolic Nuncio in Slovenia the Archbishop Juliusz Janusz who sang a song to the par- ticipants. 171 172
