The groups combined efforts netted 1,030 pounds of recyclable materials, the highest amount to date. KIB provided the City of Irving blue recycling bags plus instructions on what items can be placed in the bags, and weighed all the bags as they were Cutline collected. In addition, as the local affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, KIB was able to provide the YMCA with posters, stickers, magnets and pencils pro- moting the event.
