Apparently, Stan and Ollie were responsible for Muldoons wrongful imprisonment, and Muldoon swore revenge. Under the circumstances, Stan and Ollie have no choice but to go along with the plan, leading to hilarious moments, especially when the real Don Sebastian shows up at the arena. Director Peter Yates (Bullit) and screenwriter Tom Mankiewicz successfully depict the frenetic pace of life for freelance ambulance drivers, with a tone similar to that of M*A*S*H. The film is largely an exploration of the day-to-day experiences of the company crew, and their frequent encounters with unusual characters as they compete with a rival ambulance company to transport injured persons. The subject matter also allows for plenty of action, with car chases scattered throughout the film.     Public Workshop on Competition in Licensing Music Public Performance Rights July 28-29, 2020 Panelist Biographies July 28, 2020 Session 1: Remarks from Stakeholders on the Consent Decrees David Israelite, President and CEO, National Music Publishers’ Association (NMPA) David Mark Israelite is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Music Publishers’ Association. The National Music Publishers' Association (NMPA) is the premier trade association representing American music publishers and their songwriter partners. The NMPA's mandate is to protect and advance the interests of music publishers and their songwriter partners in matters relating to the domestic and global protection of music copyrights. From 2001 through 2005, Israelite served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Counselor to the Attorney General of the United States. In this capacity he served as the Attorney General’s personal advisor on all legal, strategic and public affairs issues. In March of 2004, the Attorney General appointed Israelite Chairman of the Department’s Task Force on Intellectual Property. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, he served as the Director of Political and Governmental Affairs for the Republican National Committee. In that role he was the senior advisor to the Chairman of the National Republican Party. From 1997 through 1998, he served as Missouri Senator Kit Bond’s Administrative Assistant, making him the youngest AA in the United States Senate. He also served as Campaign Manager for Senator Bond’s successful 1998 re-election campaign.     July 15, 2014 CBS Corporation Announces Final Results Of CBS Outdoor Exchange Offer NEW YORK, July 15, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- CBS Corporation (NYSE: CBS.A and CBS) today announced the final results of its offer to shareholders to exchange their shares of CBS Class B Common stock for up to 97 million shares of CBS Outdoor Americas Inc. (NYSE: CBSO) common stock that are owned by CBS. The exchange offer expired at 12:00 midnight, New York City time, on July 9, 2014. Under the terms of the offer, 2.1689 shares of CBS Outdoor common stock will be exchanged for each share of CBS Class B common stock accepted in the offer. CBS accepted 44,723,131 of the tendered shares in exchange for 97 million shares of CBS Outdoor common stock owned by CBS. Because the exchange offer was oversubscribed, CBS accepted tendered shares of CBS Class B common stock on a pro rata basis in proportion to the total number of shares validly tendered and not validly withdrawn. Shareholders who owned fewer than 100 shares of CBS Class B common stock, or an "odd lot," and who validly tendered all of their shares, were not subject to proration in accordance with the terms of the exchange offer. All of such shares have been accepted. The final proration factor of approximately 14.7740% was applied to all other shares of CBS Class B common stock that were validly tendered and not validly withdrawn to determine the number of such shares that have been accepted from each tendering shareholder.
