In her final year of competition at OU, senior horizontal jumper Toni Smith has started the year with a bang. After not competing indoor due to exhausted eligibility, Smith posted NCAA Regional qualifying marks in both the long jump and triple jump at last weekend’s Texas Relays, her first action in the events of the season. Smith jumped 19-11.5 (6.08) to take third in the long jump on Friday and 43-5.00 (13.23) one day later in the triple jump to finish second.
