Luxury Crossover Values Experience Softness

 Volume weighted, overall car segment values decreased by 0.56% last week, lower than the depreciation rate of 0.62% seen in the previous four weeks.  Sub-, Near and Mid-Size Car segments declined the most by 1.22%, 1.00% and 0.74%, respectively.  Volume-weighted, overall truck segment (including pickups, SUVs and ) values decreased by 0.31% last week, lower than the depreciation rate of 0.59% seen in the previous four weeks.  Compact Luxury Crossover/SUV, Mid-Size Luxury Crossover/SUV and Compact segments declined the most by 0.71%, 0.52% and 0.49%, respectively.

Retention Trends of Compact Luxury Crossover/SUVs

Retention trends for 3-year old Compact Luxury Crossover/SUV segment have been strong in recent years. The retention values are 3- to 4-percentage points lower this year for 2013 Model Year vehicles in this segment.

Vehicle Highlight 2017 Lincoln MKX is available in Select, Premiere, Reserve and Black Label trim levels, available in both FWD and AWD configurations. Base MSRP starts at $38,260 excluding factory destination charge. A 303-hp 3.7-liter V-6 is standard and twin- turbo 2.7-liter V-6 is optional.
