and Rock‘n’Roll on a trip to some of America’s most famous music cities. City tours of Nashville and Memphis. Visit the Grand Ole Opry, Presley’s , Sun Studio, and the National Civil Rights Museum. Stroll down in Memphis, the birthplace of the Blues, Rock’n’Roll and Soul. Free time in Nashville to explore the city’s museums and music venues. Time in St. Louis to visit Gateway Arch National Park or listen to the Blues. So much to see and do on this music filled eight-day trip. NASHVILLE – MEMPHIS – ST. LOUIS TRIP Itinerary Synopsis *All Itineraries subject to change.

Day 1: After our 8:30 AM departure from the YMCA, we have a day of travel to begin an adventure full of music and history. Our overnight stay will be at the new Best Western Plus in Elizabethtown, Kentucky.

Day 2: Enjoy the included breakfast at the hotel before a short drive to Nashville. Our first stop will be at the Grand Ole Opry for an included BACKSTAGE tour of the iconic venue. Afterwards we visit FIFTH + BROADWAY assembly hall for lunch and shopping on our own. After lunch a local step-on guide will join us to narrate a driving tour of some of the premier sites in Nashville before checking into the Drury Plaza Hotel Downtown. This recently-opened hotel gets great reviews for its amenities and location right in the heart of the music venues and museums. A hot breakfast and evening KICKBACK are included. KICKBACK is offered from 5:30-7:00 PM nightly providing a chance to relax with complementary hot and cold food plus cocktails/beverages. (Breakfast/ KICKBACK)

Day 3 and 4: Days on your own to see and explore Nashville. You can walk to the Hall of Fame, museums, music venues on Honky Tonk Row as well as the Ryman Auditorium and Bridgestone Arena. (Breakfast, KICKBACK)

Day 5: Enjoy a hot breakfast at the hotel before traveling to Memphis. Our first stop will be the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid where we will have time on our own for lunch and shopping. Afterwards a local step-on guide will board our motorcoach to provide a guided tour of Memphis’ highlights. We will check into The GUEST HOUSE at Graceland where we will spend two nights. (Breakfast)

Day 6: We will walk to ’s Graceland for our included visit. The Elvis Presley Experience has been re-imagined in recent years to include the Mansion, jets, and an entertainment complex which includes museums where an interactive iPad experience allows you to see and hear things never before available. A late afternoon included tour of the legendary Sun Studio, the birthplace of “Rock n’ Roll,” will be followed by a visit to famed Beale Street. You will have time to enjoy dinner and listen to music on your own.

Day 7: After checking out of The GUEST HOUSE, we visit and tour the National Civil Rights Museum at the Lorraine Motel. We then drive to St. Louis to spend one night at the Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch. After enjoying KICKBACK at the hotel, you might want to gamble a little at a local casino or listen to Blues music at a local venue.

Day 8: Time in the morning to visit Gateway Arch National Park, just steps from our hotel. Afterwards we board our motorcoach to drive home. We arrive back at the YMCA with many memories having had a wonderful trip. (Breakfast) Trip hosted by the Oconomowoc Area Senior Center/YMCA partnership.
