I found the event very well organised (2 rooms, desks allocated on first come, first serve basis, with 2 cohorts of students for 1h each and with 30 min break for lunch) and very well attended. However, the quality of the students wasn’t impressive. I had a significant interest in the Medical school and told them to keep an eye on the website for 2018 entry.

Overall there were around 70/80 students. The students were about to do the IB Degree Programme. There were students from Qatar, Oman, France, Ghana and most of them already had an idea what they want to study. Most of them didn’t know where Aston is and were interested in general information about the university.

The universities that attracted most interest were University of Bath, UCL and St Andrews.

Degrees that I had enquiries about but we don’t offer were Law with , Dental Medicine.

Materials recommended for next time will be: 10 UG prospectuses Course brochures for the above mentioned subjects
