A. The San Juan Estuary Where the San Juan Creek meets the Pacific Ocean.

B. San Juan Creek Trail Once thought extinct in Southern , Steelhead are attempting a comeback to their ancestral streams. San Juan Creek is also a draw for bird watchers, with thousands of birds such as Marbled Godwits and the endangered Brown Pelican. E C. 7 Turn Right on Los Rios Street. 8 Exit Los Rios Street left onto the cobblestone walkway through Verdugo Crossing. Proceed through the train track crossing with caution, exit Capistrano Depot and continue straight onto Verdugo St. 9 Turn left onto Camino Capistrano. 10 Turn right onto Ortega Hwy. 11 Turn right on Rancho Viejo. 12 Turn left on Calle Arroyo, rejoining the San Juan Creek Trail on the right side of the street. 13 After crossing the Calle Arroyo and La Novia Ave. intersection, turn right on La Novia, then immediate left onto the bike path adjacent to parking lot. 14 Stay straight on the bike path until it ends at Avenida Siega, keeping right at forks. 15 Turn around and return on the San Juan Creek Trail via Calle Arroyo, following the bike path and turning left onto Paseo Tirador. 16 As Paseo Tirador ends, keep right, rejoining San Juan Creek Trail, and continue under Highway 5, Camino Capistrano, and train overpasses. 17 The trail crosses an iron foot bridge. Turn left after exiting the bridge onto San Juan Creek Trail and follow it back to Wheel Fun Rentals!
