(Not fixed yet) 2. QRC confirmed the continuous of water trucking till 20th of Jan. 2018 3. UNHCR handover the boilers that installed for the caravans. 4. Digging the third borehole with extension pipes to the camp approved and on tendering process. 5. QRC to share the last update on desludging process for septic tank. Barzanjah camp: - (134) families 550 individuals Caravan camps-two borehole available to provide drinking - JCC to follow on water to the IDPs and host community. possibility to provide Arche noVa Updates diesel to Barazinjah 1. Arbat municipality continue collecting garbage from Ashti camp three times per week, and QRC continue cleaning the V channel and Roads. 2. Awareness sessions continue. 3. Cleaning latrines campaign for phase 2. 4. Replace the damage lights with new once. 5. Install 167 new cover for septic tanks. Arbat IDP’s Camp –(384 families 1860 individuals ) JCC with support of UNICEF continue providing water . through water permanent system 95 m3/day, maintain sanitation , Cleaning campaigns Updates: 1. JCC update; the JCC WASH team will be guide with one engineer to run the technical services. 2. Arbat municipality continue collecting garbage from inside camp three times per week. WASH Cluster Page 1 of 4 Arbat Refugee Camp (2163 Families – 8559 Individuals)- UNHCR/Qandil continue provide services to the refugees inside camp from mid of February until end of Dec. 2018, Updates 1. DSSW continue providing drinking water with 95L/P/D to refugees. 2. UNHCR/ Qandil continue coordination to collect waste management on daily basis (exclude Friday). 3. UNHCR renovated 45 tents. 4. Distributed 70 pieces garbage bins of 100 litter capacity. 5. Conducted KAP survey on WASH activities in side camp the plan for 2018 will depend on the result of this survey. Tazade Camp – (571 Families- 2634 individuals) 1. UNICEF coordinate with DOGSW to operate water system service and increase the amount up to 400m3/day. Collect the solid waste management’s. Conduct one cleaning campaign in each month. This services will continue till end of Jan. 2018 2. Due to earthquake the big water tank effected. DOGSW 90% maintain it with support of UNICEF. 3. Qandil renovated 200 caravans with WASH and Shelter activities. Qurato Camp /(255 Families – 1188 individuals ) arche-nova is providing full WASH package in the Camp up to end of April 2018,by providing water through water system with 140m3/day - solid waste collection, Hygiene promotion , and maintenance of sanitation – Updates 1. Waste collection management on daily basis. 2. Maintenance sanitation Continue 3. Conducting hand washing campaign 1. Off camps updates PWJ : - PWJ to share the handover 1. Extension of connections from main water line in Shorish sub-district water tank to with JCC Qadirkaramyakan, Sangawyakan and Qarahangerakan in Chamchamal District for benefits 320 refugee, 4,790 IDPs and 50,000 Host community.(Work completed 100% progress). 2. Extension of water pipes to some sub-roads in Azady 111 and Goran 103 Quarters in Rapareen, Sulemani City for benefits 500 refugees, 2,000 IDPs, 3,000 host community. (The work completed with 100% progress ) handover on process with JCC 3. Extension of 250 mm water pipes diameter to some sub-roads in Soran Quarter in Rapareen, Sulemani City for benefits 600 refugees, 800 IDPs and 1000 host community . (The work completed with 100% progress, handover on process with JCC 4. Provide 03 new pumps for water treatment plant in Kalar city for benefits 15,000 IDPs and 104,000 HC (The work on going with 5% progress) 5. Extension sewage pipe for Colen quarter, Ranya District for benefits 78 HH refugees, 618 HH IDPs and 50 HH host comunity (Work finished and hand over) handover on process with JCC. 6. DSSW/PWJ to coordinate to solve the need for water in Arbat city for extention pipe 4500m2 to service the IDP and host community, without confirmation yet. GIZ: 1-Extension of the existed water network for soran301in Rapareen neighborhood WASH Cluster Page 2 of 4 " the work is ongoing with 100% progress. The pipe size is 180mm, and 550 ML. 2- Drilling of deep well and construction of Pump house and Guardroom Location: Sulaymaniyah/ Raparin Administration/ Ranya District/ Nawroz Neighborhood Implemented partner: Raparin Directorate of Water Duration: 5 months / Target groups: HCs and IDPs Beneficiaries: 660 HHs, 3960 Individuals, of which 10 HHs are IDPs Progress: 0% (Preparing the contract) Short Summary: A deep well of 150m depth will be drilled with supplying of pump set, construction of Pump house and Guardroom. The population are suffering from lack of water, however, There are at least 3 existed deep wells in this neighborhood, but the need is greater, therefore by implementing this project, hopefully the gap will be covered. 3- Extension of Water pipeline Location: Sulaymaniyah/ Bakhteary 111 Implemented partner: Suli DOW / Duration: 5 months Target Groups: HCs, IDPs and Refugees Beneficiaries: 300 HHs, 1800 Individuals, of which 10% are IDPs and Refugees Progress: 0% (Preparing the contract) Short Summary: The main 150mm existed feeder does not meet the demand of the population, therefore it will be replaced by new 250mm Polyethylene pipe, to cover their needs. 4- Installation of Sewerage system /Location: Sulaymaniyah/ Said Sadiq District/ Raparin Neighborhood Implemented Partners: Suli General Directorate of Municipalities, Said Sadiq Directorate of Municipality Duration: 5 months / Target Groups: HCs, IDPs and Refugees Beneficiaries: 196 HHs, 1176 Individuals, of which 36HHs are IDPs and Refugees Progress: 0% (Preparing the contract) Short Summary: There is no sewerage system in this Neighborhood, this issue causes public health risks to the population, especially children. Most of the families are depending on private pits made by themselves to dispose their wastes, this could mix with the water supply and causes diseases. By implementing 900ML of sewerage system with diameter of 40cm Polyethylene pipe, this problem will be solved in 4 blocks of this neighbourhood. 5- Extension of Water network - Location: Halabja Governorate/ Darwaza and Goran Neighborhoods Implemented Partner: Halabja DOW / Duration: 3 months Target Groups: HCs, IDPs and Refugees /Beneficiaries: 700 HHs, 4200 Individuals, of which 11% are IDPs and Refugees Progress: 0% (Preparing the contract) Short Summary: This project consist of 2 parts. Rania district are in need for chlorine 3. PWJ shared a gap in Shorish sub-district to connect 02 boreholes were digged by PWJ with Ground water tanks available in area. (Assessment available).
