Morris Barash (1903-1977) Psalms 24, 48, 82, 94, 81, 93, 92, Mishnah Tamid 7:4 Cantor David Berger and Cantor Steve Zeidenberg, with Joyce Rosenzweig, pianist "Shir shel Yom" or "Psalm of the Day" is recited at the conclusion of the weekday morning service. Mirroring the daily Psalms that were supposedly chanted by the L'vi'im (Priests) in the Beit Hamik- dash (Temple), each Psalm is specially suited to the particular day of the week. In this exquisite classic cantorial recitative, written by two of the most respected and well-known cantor/composers of the twentieth century, one can hear the words of these seven Psalms illuminated and interpreted with tremendous majesty, understanding, warmth, and excitement. The song culminates with the words: "A song for the Sabbath, for the time to come; for the day that is forever Sabbath rest." 1 PARASHAT MATOT-MASEI הֲכָנַת הַלֵּב OPENING PRAYERS AND MEDITATIONS Hinei Mah Tov Yemenite הִנֵּה מַה טוֹב CI SR 31 (Candle Blessings Abraham Wolf Binder (1895-1967 הַדְלָקַת נֵרוֹת שׁל שׁבָּת Gallery 38 (Shalom Aleichem Israel Goldfarb (1879-1956 שׁלוֹם עֲלֵיכֶם CI SR 40 קַבָּלַת שׁבָּת KABBALAT SHABBAT / WELCOMING SHABBAT (L’chu N’ran’nah (Psalm 95) Shlomo Carlebach (1926-1994 לְכוּ נְנְּנָה (תהלים צה) CI SR 52 (Shiru Ladonai (Psalm 96) Shlomo Carlebach (1926-1994 שֽׁירוּ לַה' (תהלים צו) CI SR 54 Mizmor L’David (Psalm 29) Western Sephardic Melody מִזְמוֹר לְדָוד (תהלים כט) CI SR 62 *L'chah Dodi (Shlomo Alkabetz) Eli Tziyon Melody לְכָה דוֹדִי Video 66 from July 14, 2017 Shlomo Carlebach (1926-1994)* Prayer for Healers תפילת הרופאימיות RSK (Tzadik Katamar (Psalm 92) Louis Lewandowski (1821-1894 צַדִּ יק כַּתָּמָר (תהלים צב) CI SR 72 מַעֲ יב MA’ARIV / THE EVENING SERVICE Bar’chu Nusach בָּכוּ Gallery 78 Hama’ariv Aravim Nusach הַמַּעֲ יב עֲ בִים CI SR 80 (Ahavat Olam Debbie Friedman (1951-2011 אַהֲבַת עוֹלָם CI SR 86-87 (Sh’ma Yisrael Salomon Sulzer (1804-1890 שׁמַע ישׂאֵל CI SR 88 (V’ahavta Torah Cantillation (Trope ו אָ ַה בְ תָּ CI SR 89 (Mi Chamocha Dan Nichols (Born 1969 מִי כָמֹֽכָה CI SR 94 (Hashkiveinu Yoshi Zweiback (Born 1969 הַשׁכִּיבֵֽנוּ -Gallery Pro gram (V’shamru Moshe Rothblum (Born 1944 ושׁמְרוּ CI SR 102 Chatzi Kaddish Nusach חֲצִי קַדִּ ישׁ Gallery 104 Silent Amidah עֲ מִ ידָ ה Flag 106 2 CI SR 185 El Dio Alto Sephardic Melody (Oseh Shalom Yoel Sykes (Born 1986 עֹשׂה שׁלוֹם Prayer for Healing תְּפִלָּה לִפוּאָה Rabbi 130 Prayer for our Country תְּפִלָּה לַמְּ דִ ינ ָה ASSAF Program Blessing of the New Month Improvisation בִּכַּת הַחֹדֶשׁ 136 Kaddish Shalem Nusach קַדִּישׁ שׁלֵם Gallery 138 *VIDEO FOLLOWS TALK* GUEST SPEAKER: EMILY BERNSTEIN-DUNKEL סִיּוּם הַתְּפִילָה CONCLUDING PRAYERS (Aleinu Salomon Sulzer (1804-1890 עָלֵֽינוּ CI SR 140 Mourner’s Kaddish קַדִּישׁ יתוֹם RSK 150 ANNOUNCEMENTS: CBST PRESIDENT GREGG PASSIN Non Komo Muestro Dio Sephardic אֵין כֵּא-הֵֽינוּ CI SR 155 (Kiddush & Motzi Louis Lewandowski (1821-1894 קִידּוּש &הַמּוֹצִיא Gallery 156 COMPOSER FEATURE: Debbie Friedman Debbie Friedman was one of the most influential and beloved Jewish musical figures of the past 40 years.
