Admiral launched in 1993 with just one brand, zero customers and 57 members of staff. The Company has grown to become one of the UK’s largest and most profitable car insurance providers, with over 11% market share and market-leading financial results. The Group also has operations in Spain, Italy, France and the USA, and in total insures 3.70 million customers. Admiral is one of the largest employers in South Wales and employs 7,000 people worldwide. Being given 10% chance of survival at birth he defied the odds and is now an ultra athlete and world record holder. 2017 saw him become the 5th person in the world to complete the ‘Worlds Physical Fitness Challenge’ in under 24 hours. In 2018, he became a world record holder by lifting 1,000,000 kilos in under 24hrs. In 2019, he has his sights on even bigger goals.
