The abolition of the Severn Bridge tolls have removed a critical barrier to investment and we now stand on the verge of an important new era for the city. Newport will soon be home to the International Convention Centre which is another example of how the profile of the city is changing.

International Convention Centre Wales (ICCW) The ICCW is a major visitor destination expected to create demand for an additional 100,000 bedroom nights in the region per year.

Llanwern Development Site/ Celtic Business Park There is an ongoing development of a large new community to the east of the city with up to 1.3 m sq ft of employment space. Well connected to the M4 corridor and serviced by a new Llanwern station, the site is well located to operate as a logistical hub.
