If your child requires transport on one of these buses next year, a Bus Application form should be completed detailing personal information and agreeing to abide by the code of conduct on buses.  Conveyance buses operate the Wy Yung and Eastwood bus runs. They provide TWO buses, both that service the Eastwood area, with one of those buses returning to service the Wy Yung area. In the morning both buses start with their Eastwood runs, take the students to Nagle College, then one bus returns to the Wy Yung area to pick up students on that bus route. In the afternoon the Eastwood bus routes are completed first, with one bus returning to Nagle to pick up Wy Yung bus route students. All students travelling on these buses must first complete a Conveyance Allowance form and then they are issued with a bus tag that allows travel.

 Nagle provides a conveyance bus for the Orbost run. They provide ONE bus which services from Orbost through to Toorloo Arm. All students travelling on this bus must first complete a Conveyance Allowance form and a per student fee is charged for this bus run and is added to the Annual School Fee account.

 Nagle College provides a late after school bus. It departs Nagle at 4.55 pm from Monday to Thursday and drops off at McDonald’s and then Coles.

 Dyson’s Buslines operate the Omeo bus run. All students travelling on this bus must first complete a Conveyance Allowance form.

All timetables for these buses are under constant review and are subject to change. Students travelling on any of these buses (except user pay students using the Township buses) need to submit a Conveyance Allowance form. These forms can be collected from the Finance Office at Nagle College.

BAIRNSDALE TOWNSHIP STUDENTS MAY USE THESE USER PAY BUSES: CARRISON’S TOWN BUS (timetable available) DYSON’S WY YUNG AND TOWN BUS (timetable available)

There are two services that provide transport to and from Nagle College for students who live in the Bairnsdale Township:

1. The first bus is Carrison’s. They operate a service originating at K‐Mart on Pyke Street with stops in Pearson, Wallace and McKean Streets (refer to timetable for exact stop destinations). The fees for this service are listed on the timetable and are payable to the driver. 2. The second bus is the service that comes in from Wy Yung but provides two stops through West Bairnsdale on route to Nagle. The fee for this service is listed on the timetable and is payable to the driver.

BUS PASSES: Due to the increasing number of students on buses, NO temporary bus passes can be issued. In line with DEECD (Department of Education and Early Childhood Development) policy, Nagle College and associated schools within the bus network are NOT permitted to issue bus passes for casual travel. Bus travel is strictly from student’s allocated pick up to school and return in the afternoon.

The allocated pick up point is determined by the student’s residential address.

We are unable to cater for social events such as sleepovers, birthday parties, after school sports etc, or if parents are planning time away. Parents are required to organise private travel arrangements for their child/ren. PLEASE DO NOT send your child to school with a note on the day you are leaving requesting bus travel on another bus, as it will be refused.

Student bus allocation is the responsibility of the Government Bus Co‐ordinator, NOT Nagle College

If you have any queries relating to any of these Bus Services, please contact Student Reception between the hours of 8:15 am to 4:15 pm Monday to Friday on 5152 9907.
