April – May 2019 THE BENEFICE OF INGLEBY GREENHOW, BILSDALE PRIORY, KILDALE Ingleby Greenhow C of E VC Primary School WITH KIRKBY IN CLEVELAND Hello everyone – lighter nights, lambs, spring flowers – what a wonderful time of year it is! The children have all enjoyed participating in lots of different sports. Recently we The Reverend Dr Anne Heading 01642 710045 came joint first in quicksticks and netball events. We also had three children in the [email protected] cross country finals. We were very proud of them as they were competing against children from across the whole of North Yorkshire! Well done to all of our children and a special thank you to our sports coach, Mrs Dury, for enabling them to have the skills and the determination to do their best in their P.E. lessons and at all of these events. Many thanks to those members of the community who have taken the opportunity to come into school and talk to us about their job/charity. We have had visitors from Fairtrade, RSPCA, the Environment Agency, St. John Ambulance, a homelessness charity and road safety. We have also been lucky enough to have had a presentation from one of our families about the Iranian New Year and also Mr Singh who came to do a workshop all about Sikhism. Many thanks to everyone who has helped our school to deliver a rich and diverse curriculum to our children. If you would like to visit our school please contact us – we would love to hear about your job or charity. Please come and join us on Thursday 11th April at 9.30 for our Easter Service in St Andrew’s Church. We will then come back up to school for a coffee followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for the toddlers and also anyone who wants to relive their childhood! I would like to wish you all a very happy and peaceful Easter. Thank you to our wonderful community for all your help and support.
