In 1998 EEA published Guidelines for the implementation of the EUROWATERNET monitoring network for inland waters. In every Member Country a monitoring network should be designed according to these Guidelines and put into operation. Together these national networks will form the EUROWATERNET monitoring network that will provide information on the quantity and quality of European inland waters. In the future they will be developed to meet the requirements of the EU Water Framework Directive. This publication presents the Finnish EUROWATERNET monitoring network put into operation from the first of January, 2000. It includes a total of 195 river sites, 253 lake sites and 74 hydrological baseline sites. Groundwater monitoring network will be developed later. In addition, information about Finnish water resources and current monitoring strategies is given. 17.2.2012 Karkkila-työmatkalippu Karkkila-lippu on Karkkilan asukkaille myytävä edullinen bussilippu Karkkilasta pääkaupunkiseudulle. Lippu on tarkoitettu säännöllistä joukkoliikennettä työmatkoillaan käyttäville aikuisille. Lippua ei myydä lakisääteiseen koulumatkatukeen oikeutetuille oppilaille eikä oppilaille, joiden koulumatkan kaupunki kustantaa. KARKKILA-TYÖMATKALIPUN ASIAKASHINTA LASKEE 1.3.2012 Karkkilan kaupungin tukiosuuden noustessa 50 prosenttiin Karkkila-lipun lisälatauksissa muutos 1.3.2012 Lippuhinnan muutos estää lisälatauksen vanhoilla lipuilla autoissa ja R-kioskeissa 29.2. jälkeen. This report summarises the timeline of the e-voting pilot project. It comments the audit results of the Finnish system performed prior to the election, as well as a report produced after the pilot by Ministry of Justice, highlighting the issues and setting out potential requirements for future e-voting programmes. In addition, this document compares the Finnish e-voting system with the Council of Europe recommendations for e-voting. Information and claims on the Finnish e-voting system are based on information provided by the Ministry of Justice2,3,4,5. REPORTS OF THE FINNISH ENVIRONMENT INSTITUTE 16 | 2015 This publication compares the development of the Helsinki and Stockholm AND CAR ZONES TRANSPORT PUBLIC DEVELOPMENT OF PEDESTRIAN, CITY REGIONS AND STOCKHOLM THE HELSINKI URBAN FORM IN city regions from the perspective of urban form and the traffic system. Urban Form in the Helsinki The viewpoint of the study centres on the notion of three urban fabrics – and Stockholm City Regions walking city, transit city and car city – which differ in terms of their physical structure and the travel alternatives they offer. Development of Pedestrian, Public Transport and Car Zones Based on the results of the study, growth in the Stockholm region has been channelled inward more strongly than in Helsinki, which has increased the structural density of Stockholm’s core areas. During recent years, however, Panu Söderström, Harry Schulman and Mika Ristimäki the Helsinki region has followed suit with the direction of migration turning from the peri-urban municipalities towards the city at the centre.
