With the advent of a Frontier League team, it is clear that an additional team playing at Labatt park will have an adverse effect on the Majors' financial status and their ability to field a team in 2012. The Majors are a Community based team like the majority of Intercounty teams, and it is this close interaction with each of our cities and fans that makes our League unique in baseball. Without the London Majors playing in the IBL, it will be a significant setback to the League. The Majors deserve your support. Historically, they have been London's team when others have come and gone. The excellent product that the current owners are committed to provide to their many valued fans will be undoubtedly be lost. On bahalf of the Barrie Baycats, we ask that London City Council consider the implications that another team occupying Labatt stadium would have on the Intercounty League and the loss of a great franchise. Sincerely, Vawld/MilLL David Mills President and Owner, Barrie Baycats Baseball Club .
