• The RailRiders went 5-2 last week…took 2-of-3 vs. Lehigh Valley and 3-of-4 at Charlotte…finish the road trip tonight-Wed. with 3G at Gwinnett… batting .289 as a team, the highest average in the International League. • INF was named the IL’s Batter of the Week for 4/5-15…has hit safely in eight straight starts…is batting .429 (15-for-35) with 5R, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 1HR and 10RBI over the stretch…his 15H are tied for the most in the IL, while his 22 total bases and 10RBI are tied for second in the IL…since 2016, his teams are 71-22 when he scores at least 1R…with SWB from 2017-18, team is 12-2 when he scores 1R-or-more…has split time at 3B (6G), SS (3G) and 2B (1G) in 2018. • INF Abiatal Avelino hit .538 (7-for-13) with 5R, 1 double, 1 triple, 7RBI, 2BB and 3SB over the four-game series at Charlotte…set a career high with 5RBI on 4/12 at Charlotte (3-for-3, 2R, 1 triple, 1BB, 2SB)…is just the second RailRider since at least 2009 to have a 5RBI game with 0HR (other: Austin Jackson on 9/1/09 vs. Syracuse)…currently owns a 6G hitting streak and is batting .500 (10-for-20) with 5R and 8RBI over the stretch…leads the IL with 11RBI this season. • LHP Josh Rogers started and earned the win on 4/12 at Charlotte (7.0IP, 3H, 1ER, 1HR, 10K)…set a career high in (prev.: 8K, six times)…retired 10 batters in order from the first into the fourth inning…was the first start by a RailRider of at least 10K and 0BB since RHP on 6/16/16 (7.0IP, 11K, 0BB).

SINGLE-A SOUTH ATLANTIC LEAGUE • Charleston went 4-2 last week…took 2-of-3 games at Rome and 2-of-3 vs. Kannapolis…host a three-game set vs. West Virginia tonight-Wed. • In his second start of the season, RHP Glenn Otto earned the win and did not allow a run in 6.0IP (1H, 4BB, 5K) on 4/11 at Rome. • Charleston relievers threw 27.0IP without allowing an earned run (from 4/5-13)…for the season, have combined as a bullpen for a 0.51 ERA (35.0IP, 2ER) with opponents hitting just .187 (23-for-123). • INF Chris Hess has hit safely in eight-of-nine games this season…on 4/9, went 3-for-5 with 2HR and 6RBI, which is tied for the most RBI in a single game in the SAL this season.

• The 2017 Staten Island Yankees finished 46-29 in 2018 and qualified for the postseason for the third straight season…are slated to start the 2018 season on 6/15 vs. Brooklyn. • The Pulaski Yankees finishedsecond in the Appalachian League East Division with a record of 41-26, qualifying for the playoffs for the second time in three seasons as an affiliate of the Yankees…will begin the 2018 campaign on 6/19 at Danville. • The GCL Yankees East finished off the 2017 season by winning the Gulf Coast League Championship…marked the 12th time a Yankees affiliate has been crowned champion of the Gulf Coast League and the first since 2011…are set to begin the 2018 season on 6/18. • The GCL Yankees West finished in third place in the GCL Northwest Division with a 32-27 record in 2017…start the 2018 season on 6/18.
