o you remember our American Revolutonary war heroes? Wouldn’t you like to Dmeet one? The Marquis de Lafayete will be visitng with us here at Two Rivers at the upcoming E-Series on Wednesday, April 11. The Marquis de Lafayete became a valuable ally to George Washington, who considered him as his son. The Marquis played an important part in the Batle of Yorktown where his tactcal cunning and fearlessness in batle saved the Revoluton many tmes. This batle was where General Cornwallis capitulated, ensuring the American Revoluton was all but won. Our Marquis de Lafayete Interpreter is well-known Mark Schneider, employee of the Colonial Williamsburg Foundaton. Since arriving at Colonial Williamsburg in 1997, Mark has performed in a variety of diferent positons. He now performs with the Naton Builder program where he performs the Marquis de Lafayete. He also portrays Napoleon Bonaparte internatonally and has appeared since 2005 in Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy and Russia.
