Registration / Instructions
All wakeboarding lessons, product demos, and participation at the AF Wake facility require compliance with our insurance. Please sign and email or bring these two forms to save time the day of an event or lesson.

Private Lessons
Boat Driving Instruction
The boat driving leadership can make all the difference in your water sports experience. We offer basic to advanced techniques for towing wakeboarders, skiers, and surfers. These lessons are great for both safety and performance benefits. Just mention you’d like extra attention given to the driving and we’ll work that into your wakeboard lessons, for free. These lessons are also great for any type of boater looking to get better at using their boat!
• $75 Per Hour - On Your Boat • $125 Per Hour - on AF Wake Boat • Complimentary if requested as part of a Sports Training Session
Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing, Wakeskating, & Water Skiing
These lessons are available on your boat or AF Wake's boat, are great for all skill levels, families, and groups, are scheduled by the hour, not per person. We do recommend at least one hour per person.

Day Camps for Wake Sports...
For Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing, Wakeskating, & Water Skiing
These camps take place at the AF Wake facility with AF Wake boats. Participants work together with the AF Wake coaches on and off the water for maximum progression. Students watch the other participants and coaches from the boat and listen while they're coached, receiving a wider range of information plus the visual learning and boating experience.
Half Day
The half-day sessions include two 25-30 Minute Sets Behind the Boat, Coach & Gear / Long morning or afternoon on the boat with other riders and the coach - to watch, listen, learn more and enjoy being on the boat / 3-4 hours of coaching / Opportunity for pictures and video.
• Session Time: Morning 8am – 12pm • Session Time: Afternoon 1pm – 5pm • $165 for One Session • $700 for 5 Sessions • $1250 for 10 Sessions
Full Day
Full-day sessions include three 25-30 minute sets behind the boat, coach, & gear / Time in the boat with other riders and the coach – to watch, listen, learn more, and enjoy bieing on the boat / 8-9 hours of coaching / Opportunity for pictures and video.
• Session Time: 8am – 5pm • $225 for One Session • $1000 for Five Sessions • $1750 for 10 Sessions
Lessons at Your Home Lake...
Personal wakeboard training and coaching at your own riding spot, on your boat of choice, is a very convenient, productive method. Not only do we get specific about how to help you ride better, but we'll also help you get the most out of your boat, from proper weighting techniques and rope length adjustments, to boat driving and wake shaping. We recommend at least one hour per person. The cost remains the same regardless of the number of people – minimum of 3 hours.
• $75 Per Hour with the AF Wake Staff – plus travel expenses with the AF Wake Staff • $125 Per Hour with Adam – plus travel expenses • $475 Per Day with AF Wake Staff – plus travel expenses with the AF Wake Staff • $795 Per Day with Adam – plus travel expenses
Stand Up Paddle Boarding Lessons (SUP)
Prices for our Group and Private SUP Lessons include rental equipment, instruction and accompanying instructor. Reservations are strongly suggested for Group Lessons and mandatory for Private Lessons. Call (252) 536-9063 or e-mail Adam at [email protected] for reservations.
Group Lessons: Two - Six People at One Time
• 1 Hour Introductory Lesson - $45 Per Person • 2.25 Hour Introductory / Intermediate Lesson - $70 Per Person • Available June thru September: Friday from 6:00 pm - 8:15pm / Saturday & Sunday from 7:30am - 9:45am
