INDUSTRY Over the last two years, the British EBF have been PARTNERS working to develop the image and profile of the organisation within the industry. A major way in which this is being achieved is through partnerships.

The British EBF were announced as a group partner of Jockey Club Racecourses in January 2018; as the funds’ biggest group beneficiary, The Jockey Club were keen to acknowledge the investment to the industry that British Stallion owners make. The EBF is represented on the partners page of the main Jockey Club website and all JCR course sites as well as being included in all group marketing.

Following the partnership with JCR, the British EBF soon established a group partnership plan with Britain’s largest racing group, ARC, whose concerns cover sixteen of the country’s courses. The relationship covers marketing and significant joint investment ventures in the race programme.

The EBN (European Bloodstock News) is a daily publication, specifically for the Thoroughbred breeding industry. The British EBF teamed up with the publication to produce a monthly British based stallion focus, championing the achievements of domestic sires throughout the year. To find out more about the European Bloodstock News and to subscribe, visit: http://www.bloodstocknews.eu.

Racing to School delivers free outdoor learning activities for young people at racecourses, studs and trainers’ yards across the country. The charity also works with young people with special educational needs and over one third of their output in 2018 was targeted to engage those from inner city, rural and deprived areas. The British EBF provided sponsorship opportunities for the charity, donating race titles to help promote the aims of Racing to School throughout 2018.
