In everything he did and with anything he said Tyler Lambert usually did so with a beaming grin across his face and with playful, bantering jesters. Those are the very things that were so likable about him and just a few of the many things that people came to love about Tyler. Whatever the situation, he always looked on the bright side. Even when he may have been experiencing a bad day, he was always more concerned about those around him. Now experiencing a new journey, may his love continue to shine bright and be made clearer in his absence. For those he has left behind, he will be remembered with love and wonderful times shared, if even for the brief time he was with us. The end of the 1980s found many anticipating the new decade ahead and what the future would bring. There was hope for a more prospering economy while the world of electronics and computers seemed to be increasing by the minute. The handheld Nintendo Game Boy was fi rst introduced to gamers and young boys everywhere were captivated when Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hit store shelves. The “Prozac Nation” was well underway and “crack” found its way on many American streets. It was during this time of anticipation and ever changing culture when Tyler A. Lambert-Quinn was fi rst introduced to the world around him. Born at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan on September 17, 1988, he was the third child and fi rst son born to Chris and Julie (Quinn) Lambert. Tyler spent most of his growing up years in the Otsego and Kalamazoo areas of Michigan with his sisters Kami and Kara, and later became the proud big brother to Patrick and Brad. Raised as a well mannered and respectful boy, Tyler was a good kid and never caused his parents much trouble. He enjoyed boyhood adventures with his many friends, and even from a young age was well liked by many. Never one to talk back, he always did what he was told, never giving grief or argument. He loved his role as older brother and throughout his life tried to set a good example for his younger brothers. Well into his teens and beyond, Tyler loved to cook, especially creating new and exciting recipes which he always persuaded his family to try. Having attended the local schools, Tyler shared many great friendships throughout his early school years and beyond high school graduation. When transitioning into his teenage years, Tyler and a few friends discovered an underground music venue which had a huge impact on him. Expressive and forward thinking, he loved the hip hop music styles of the bands and turned into a genuine Juggalo within the fan base community of Psychopathic Records. Beginning with the rap group Insane Clown Posse’s inception in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the music was a creative form of expression for Tyler and those within the Hatchetman community. He made many awesome friends and favored most of the groups signed under the label such as I.C.P., Twizdtid, Esham, ABK, and Tech9. Within this venue Tyler found a sense of belonging and connected with those who shared his views. A jokester in his own right, Tyler was the kind of guy who could make anyone laugh anywhere and in any situation. He’d do whatever it took to pull someone to stitches, and was so good at it! Even while watching the most dramatic, intense movie ever, he could still fi nd something funny to get everyone cracking up. With a sense of humor that blended well with his loving personality, Tyler was just a great person to know and love. He treated everyone as his own and could light up a room with his bright smile and positive manner. As an encourager, he set an example for all and instilled in others a desire to follow their dreams and never give up. A great son, brother, grandson and nephew, he leaves a wealth of treasured memories along with his great love of family. He was an awesome friend and will be deeply remembered for all he was and for all he gave, if even for just a moment in time. At the age of 22, Tyler A. Lambert-Quinn died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 18, 2010 in Kalamazoo. The service for Tyler will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010, 11:30 AM at the Oshtemo United Methodist Church.
