Third Digestive Endoscopy Symposium, 2012 Third Digestive Endoscopy Symposium October 6-7, 2012 Radisson blu Hotel, Salwa, Kuwait The Third Digestive Endoscopy Symposium will be two full day postgraduate course on the recent advances of digestive endoscopy and its utility in the management of related gastrointestinal diseases. The symposium will include both lectures and interactive video case presentations. Objectives: • Discuss indications, utility, safety and local applicability of the latest endoscopic techniques • Compare and contrast methods for effective endoscopic management of digestive diseases • Participate in interactive discussion to evaluate multidisciplinary plans of digestive diseases management Intended Audience: The Symposium is designed for gastroenterologists, surgeons, internists, oncologists, pediatricians, GPs and family practioners, nurses and biomedicals Expected number of participants: 250 Format: State-of-the-Art Lectures, Mini Symposia and Endoscopic Procedures Presentations. This campaign is a partnership between the Human Line Organization and the Social Work Society in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and other international organizations. “One Roof” Campaign works toward building a positive relationship between the employer and domestic worker that is governed by justice and serves to protect the rights and dignity of both parties. The campaign aims to raise awareness about domestic workers’ rights as stated in Kuwaiti laws to reduce conflict and problems that may arise due to the lack of awareness of laws that regulate the work of domestic workers in Kuwait. “One Roof” also seeks to emphasize that domestic work is an occupation that should be regulated by laws and procedures. About the Legal Guide While the relationship between the employer and domestic worker in Kuwait is successful and effective in most cases, it is still important for domestic workers to be knowledgeable of their legal rights and responsibilities in order to be familiar with the rules that regulate their work and be able to demand their rights in case they were violated.

In the past, I thought Arab travel- ers, especially families with children and domestic helpers, were the only heavy travelers with a large number of bags, but now I have another opinion that this theory is incorrect because I often see single people or a small family or a couple with a large number of bags, especially Arabs and Asians. Is it a cultural issue or a psychological feeling for showing off? I believe heavy travelers lose the spirit and joy of travel. Here is why. This article comes at a time when the subject of tourism and traveling are the perfect topics, as it is the summer holidays for students and everything is quiet.
