Full James River Rundown
APPLICATION
A Full James River Rundown is the successful navigation of all passable sections of the mainstem of the James River from the confluence of the Jackson and Cowpasture Rivers to the river’s mouth at the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel.
The James River Association (JRA) recognizes anyone who reports completing a full James River Rundown themselves. JRA policy is to operate on an honor system, assuming that those who apply for Full Rundown status have finished the journey. It can be accomplished as a single trip in one season or in sections over the course of a lifetime. Issues of sequence, direction, speed, length of time or mode of river navigation are not considered. JRA assumes that those who apply have made an honest effort to complete all sections. If you meet these standards, please complete and sign the form below including the table of river sections with the dates completed (approximate dates are sufficient).
