GARY GULMAN TO PERFORM AT ALBERT L. SCHULTZ JCC’S CHOPSHTICKS Albert L. Schultz JCC hosts evening of comedy and Chinese food

Palo Alto, CA, November 24, 2008 – The Albert L. Schultz JCC (ALSJCC) presents celebrity comedian of fame as the headliner for their annual Chopshticks Dinner and Comedy Show. Chopshticks will be held on December 24th and 25th at Ming’s Restaurant in Palo Alto, located at 1700 Embarcadero Rd. This is an annual sell out and tickets must be purchased in advance at www.paloaltojcc.org/chopshticks.

Chopshticks attendees will enjoy Comic Gary Gulman’s fresh style of humor as well as a gourmet vegetarian and fish dinner in an upscale atmosphere.

Gary Gulman has appeared on many television shows, including with and The Late Show with David Letterman, but he is most well known for his breakthrough success on NBC's hit standup showcase, Last Comic Standing. Gulman’s wit and talent have caught the attention of numerous television networks that have inked Gulman to star in projects, including CBS, Showtime and FOX. His body of work includes a half-hour Showtime Network special, a critically lauded CD entitled Conversations With Inanimate Objects, the HBO comedy documentary with , and the TV Special Boyish Man.

Chopshticks always attracts a diverse adult audience from singles to families looking for an alternative activity during the holidays. Tables accommodate up to 10 people and whole tables can be reserved. Chopshticks will run on Wednesday, December 24th at 7:00pm and Thursday, December 25th at 6:00pm at Ming’s Restaurant in Palo Alto. Tickets are $70 per person or $700 for a table for ten.
