This review highlighted previous reports, including the botanical, taxonomical, geographical distribution, traditional use, phytochemical, biological, and toxicological effects of S. verbenaca. The data were gathered from scientific databases PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink.
