weight RESTRICTION — PROVINCIAL HIGHWAY NO. 21-07-40 ORDER for Weight Restriction on Provincial Highway No. 21-07-40 (Mendham Access) Reference: Provincial Highway No. 21-07-40 (Mendham Access) from the junction with Provincial Highway No. 21 westerly to the junction with the north-south portion of the Municipal Alternate Truck Route. 80 THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, january 20, 2012

Pursuant to section 35.1 of The Highways and Transportation Act, 1997, the Minister hereby orders: Effective 12:01 AM, January 10, 2012 and until further notice, Provincial Highway No. 21-07-40 (Mendham Access) from the intersection of Provincial Highway No. 21 westerly to the intersection with the north-south portion of the Municipal Alternate Truck Route at the NE corner of Section 10, Township 21, Range 27, West of the 3rd Meridian; Shall be restricted as follows: • The maximum gross vehicle weight not to exceed 8 000 kg (17 600 lbs); • The maximum gross weight on any axle not to exceed 5 500 kg (12 100 lbs). The restriction does not apply to: • Emergency vehicles; • Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure vehicles and municipal maintenance equipment when conducting maintenance or accessing sites on or along the restricted highway; • SaskPower, SaskEnergy and SaskTel vehicles when accessing sites along the restricted route; • Recreational vehicles; • Buses; • Farm Equipment operated or towed; • Vehicles directly crossing Provincial Highway No. 21-07-40 (Mendham Access) at an intersecting public highway or private road. This Order is issued on a permanent basis and should not be confused with Spring Road Restriction Orders. Dated at Regina, Saskatchewan, the 9th day of January, 2012.

The Municipalities Act [sections 53, 56, 57, 59, 61, 62 and 63 ] ______

Alteration of boundaries — between the town of CARROT RIVER AND THE RURAL MUNICIPALITY OF MOOSE RANGE NO. 486 1 Pursuant to sections 53, 56, 57, 59, and 61 of The Municipalities Act, the Council of the Town of Carrot River has submitted an application to alter its boundaries to the Minister of Municipal Affairs. 2 upon consideration of the application, the Minister is of the opinion that the municipalities affected will be viable entities following the alteration of boundaries. Therefore, the undersigned hereby orders, pursuant to sections 61, 62, and 63 of The Municipalities Act, that: (a) the boundaries of the Town of Carrot River and the Rural Municipality of Moose Range No. 486 be altered by withdrawing from the rural municipality and adding to the town the territory described in Schedule A; THE SASKATCHEWAN GAZETTE, january 20, 2012 81
