Making a phone call has never been easier with CountryCode.org. Wikimedia will list the article around the world, devoting the codes of countries - and appeals. Regions are painted with the first digit. Call country codes or country dial codes are prefixes of phone numbers to reach telephone subscribers on the networks of member countries or regions of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The codes are defined by ITU-T in the E.123 and E.164 standards. Prefixes allow for an international direct set (IDD) and are also called international subscriber recruitment codes (ISD). Country codes are an integral part of the international phone number plan and are only required when dialing a phone number to set up a call to another country. Country codes are accessed to a national phone number. According to the convention, international phone numbers are represented by prefixing the country's code with a plus sign ( ), which also indicates to the subscriber that local international call prefix must be first dialed.

The task of the Swedish Polar Research Secretariat is to promote and co-ordinate Swedish polar research. This means e.g. to follow and plan research and development and to organise and lead research expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic regions.
