MIGRANTS RIGHTS - SIMPLE NEEDS SHOULDN'T BE A DREAM T R A I N I N G C O U R S E O N T O O L S F O R I N C L U S I O N O F M I G R A N T S A N D R E F U G E E S 2 3 - 3 0 A P R I L B E R L I N L O E S J E I N T R O D U C T I O N The youth workers who work directly with migrants, in this case with refugees, are Berlin lacking tools and methods that can increase the inclusion of refugees. The non-formal education they found as a perfect way to learn new skills, gaining new knowledge and increasing the awareness of the refugees and the surrounding societies about the importance of multiculturalism and European values. This project is created as a platform for youth workers who work directly with refugees, to exchange, build and develop tools and methods that will transfer to the refugees by organising workshops with them, according to the situation and interest in the camps or other surroundings where they work. PARTICIPANTS PROFILE The participants needed for this project are youth workers who are directly involved in work with refugees, in one way or another. They come from a diverse range of backgrounds, but most are young people who are engaged in their surroundings, to improve conditions, raise awareness and activate their communities. The youth workers must have some experience with work with refugees and to be able to contribute in the project based on their experience. The participants involved are open-minded youth workers, motivated to gain new knowledge to develop competences, but also to be multiplicators once back home. They will have the chance to express their specific needs in the work with refugees and together with the group and the trainers team to find solutions for that.. The participants need to deliver information about the position of their country regarding refugee crise and the situation of the country with the process of migration 2. The participants need to share daily obstacles in their work with migrants and refugees 3. The participants need to think about creative and innovative ways of inclusion of migrants and refugees 4.
