The aim of the bulletin is to assist diplomats and their families and staff who often come to Israel without knowledge of Hebrew, and perhaps without foreign health insurance that would cover them adequately in the event of emergencies or health problem. We are greatly indebted to the local doctors and medical centers that have agreed to be listed in the Diplomatic Club Medical Bulletin, and for their agreement to accept the international health insurance scheme outlined. We also thank the Ministry of Health of Israel for appreciating the complex problem of health insurance for diplomatic staff, and for supporting the Medical Bulletin. We too understand the difficulties of living in a foreign country and hope that this service will prove helpful to diplomatic staff and their families.
