OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER Job Posting Vice President, Corporate Legal

The City Thunder is seeking an attorney with an interest in sports business to join our executive team. Duties and Responsibilities: • Advise on a broad range of corporate legal matters including intellectual property, transactional and operational matters • Draft, negotiate and audit agreements related to leases, trademark licensing, content creation, events and other matters • Work closely with the Club’s human resources team on employment and labor matters and other legal matters that may arise • Conduct legal research and provide analysis and advice as requested • Manage and update case files • Serve as a member of the Thunder Executive Team and Leadership Council ensuring optimization of organizational resources and supporting a collaborative team environment • Form and maintain connections within the community and represent the Thunder as an ambassador of our culture and values • Take an active part in weekly leadership meetings • Maintain good attendance and punctuality • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements: • Juris Doctorate and bar admission • Minimum of three years' legal experience • An appetite for learning and counseling within new or changing areas of the law • Time management skills that allow you to balance multiple tasks and projects while displaying calm under pressure of deadlines • Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and organizations, using your strong communication and listening skills • Well-spoken and confident, displaying strong leadership and decision-making, and the ability to build relationships and skillfully manage negotiations

This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Executive Vice President / Chief Administrative Officer.
