The Crusaders received 44 total points. The Crusaders started off the season by playing Hockey East opponent Merrimack in a home-and-home series. The Warriors won Atlantic Hockey Standings (Through games of Oct. 30) the fi rst game, 3-2, and the second game, 2-1. Holy Cross 3 1-0-1 1-4-1 Bentley 2 1-1-0 3-2-0 BERARD IN FIRST SEASON AT HOLY CROSS: Mercyhurst 2 1-1-0 2-2-0 is 1-4-1 in his fi rst season as the head coach at Holy Cross. He has RIT 2 1-1-0 2-3-0 a 20-14-4 career record as a head coach including a season as the AIC 1 0-3-1 0-4-1 interim coach at UConn. Berard has over 20 years of collegiate Niagara 0 0-2-0 0-6-0 hockey experience, including 16 seasons at his alma mater, Providence College. He also served as the interim head coach at Upcoming Games Thursday, October 30 UConn for the majority of the 2012-2013 season. Berard assumed Bentley at Penn State, 7:00 p.m. the position of interim head coach at UConn on Nov. 5, 2012, after serving as an assistant coach under Bruce Marshall. Recent Games Friday, October 24 HC SET TO HOST 2016 NCAA REGIONAL: The College of at Penn State 3, Holy Cross 1 the Holy Cross will play host to the 2016 NCAA Division I men’s Robert Morris 3 at Army 0 ice hockey Northeast Regional at the DCU Center in Worcester on Merrimack 5 at Mercyhurst 4 (OT) March 25-26, 2016. Holy Cross previously held this event at the Bentley 5 at Rensselaer 2 DCU Center in 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014. The 2016 event will Colgate 5 at Sacred Heart 2 mark the 14th overall time that the regional will take place at the Canisius 3 at AIC 1 DCU Center. Ten of the 13 teams to win the regional in Worcester at Notre Dame 6, Niagara 3 have gone on to play in the national championship game, with six RIT 5 at Air Force 1 of those teams winning the national title. The total of 45 NCAA regional hockey games which have been played at the DCU Center Saturday, October 25 are currently the most in the 67-year history of the Division I men’s Colgate 4 at Sacred Heart 2 ice hockey tournament.
