Jackson Teichroeb handled the January (0-9-1) goaltending duties, stopping 30 of 32 shots. Sat. 9 MERCYHURST *& L 3-2 • Mercyhurst regained the lead just minutes after Curran’s goal, but Derian Plouffe Thurs. 14 at Canisius *# L 3-1 put a low shot home with 0.8 seconds left in the second for the tying tally. Sat. 16 at Canisius *# T 3-3 (OT) • Niagara was able to open the scoring Saturday night at the Mercyhurst Ice Center, Fri. 22 at Air Force * L 3-0 as Stanislav Dzakhov scored his third of the season about 13 minutes into the game. Sat. 23 at Air Force * L 3-1 • Mercyhurst tied the game less than two minutes after Dzakhov’s goal and took the Fri. 29 ARMY *# L 4-2 lead at the 6:20 mark of the second period. Sat. 30 ARMY *& L 3-2 (OT) • Niagara got the game-tying goal with less than eight minutes left in the second. Sam Rennaker set up along the right wing boards and fired a shot that beat Mercyhurst’s February (2-0-2) Brandon Wildung along the ice.
