I learned a lot of things in Kampung Sapi such as the different stages of making cheese. A simple way to make cheese is to just boil the original cow’s milk on a pan filled with water and put it on the stove. I also learned the process of how to make bio-gas.

Before we ended our trip at Kampung Sapi, we drank cold chocolate milk, prepared by the farmers. It tasted so delicious and original.

t takes skills, patience, and experience to master the art I of face-painting, which is one of the most important aspects of Chinese Opera. I believe it is almost impossible for the actors to assume the character they are supposed to be playing without the makeup. From the face-painting activity, I learned the Chinese opera actors four types of ‘faces’: the older woman; the younger woman; the martial artist, and the comedian. They have different shapes and colours, with each colour representing a characteristic. For example, pink means sneaky and blue symbolises intelligence. This experience definitely brought out the creativity in us.
