In September 2013 we officially opened our state-of-the-art interactive video conferencing studio, including a green screen, or Chroma key, wall. The McMillen Center is using green screen technology to demonstrate larger-than-life education. This equipment is also being used to create high tech, health literacy videography and motion graphics to deliver parent and community education, alongside our traditional health instruction. Our Brush!® Early Childhood Oral Health Program kicked off in October 2012. Through the program, children aged birth to five, and their parents, are being educated about the importance of primary (baby) teeth and how oral health relates to school success. In the pilot year, 2012-2013, our educators reached 1,882 students through the Brush!® program.
