When applying for colleges and universi- ties, taking the SAT or ACT test is most often required. Over the years, the for- mat of the SAT has changed. As of right now, there are a total of ten sections. Of the ten, there is one essay section, three critical reading sections, two multiple- choice writing sections, three mathematics sections, and one ungraded variable section. The sections on the ACT differ slightly from the SAT. There are four sections on the exam, including Eng- lish, math, reading, and sci- ence. The English section is 45 minutes, the math section is 60 minutes, and the reading and PHOTO BY AlYSSA GROSS science sections are 35 minutes in length. The “Pepsi Challenge” of Leo Jr./Sr. High School started out by pulling students and teachers from the hallways and classrooms to try different brands of food and drinks. There were two choices, choice “A” and choice “B”. The participant then tried the type of food to see if they could tell the difference between the two. For example; a student would try a cup of Pepsi and a cup of Coca-Cola to see if they could tell the difference between the two. Seven out of ten of the participants could tell the difference between their two choices.
