When Animals Become Pests Nuisance animals include: raccoons, opossums, squirrels, groundhogs, woodchucks, muskrats, foxes, bats, skunks, weasels, minks, and rabbits. Raccoons, foxes, bats, skunks and coyotes are common rabies carriers. We recommend capturing nuisance animals with the assistance of a professional trapper. Receipts for ownership should include gender of the deer along with name and address of the person receiving the carcass. A copy of the receipt should be forwarded to county Wildlife Officer.
