• Blue Sheet being updated. Will be released early April. • Removed all course numbers that have ended. • Replace current copy. • On webpage at: www.nccommunitycolleges.edu/workforce-continuing- education/public-safety • Or type “public safety training” or “blue sheet” in search box and follow links to Public Safety Training page

11
Note: This is not a policy change; it merely documents it for explicit inclusion in the Waiver Guide. NCCCS UPDATES • Tuition and Registration Fee Waiver Guide also on Public Safety web page • Expect updated version in late Spring (or after Legislative Session – still TBD) • Updates include: “Rescue & Lifesaving Entity” definition:
The terms “rescue and lifesaving department,” “rescue squad,” and “search and rescue team” refer to entities affiliated with a municipal, county, or state governmental body with the authority to respond to an emergency. This affiliation is established when an entity is recognized by the governmental body having jurisdiction and includes agencies and authorities such as the NC Office of Emergency Medical Services, NC Emergency Management, NC Office of State Fire Marshal, and county or state Emergency Operations Plans (EOPs). This affiliation ensures that the agencies/employees/volunteers have official “authority to act” in an emergency situation, as granted by one of these governmental entities. NCCCS UPDATES
• Student Data Transfer to OSFM • Numerous transfer issues occurring • Monitor transfer as you can • Please report issues to Kenny Weatherington • Will create ServiceNow (help desk) ticket to monitor
4/1/2021 13
13
NCCCS UPDATES Student Data Transfer (Continued) • System Office IT transfers records daily that you submit via Colleague process • You must also register your classes in the OSFM portal (not tied to student data transfer process) • OSFM compares portal information to student data transfer information before moving to student transcript-no number or incorrect number is causing delay in records getting to transcripts • You must enter the unique Colleague ID number in the OSFM portal (see next slide- use number at top in parenthesis) • You can use “fake” number/place holder when registering in portal and then change to Colleague number when you get it, but you must change it before end date of class and transfer of student data

14
7 4/1/2021
NCCCS UPDATES
Do not put the number in OSFM Portal that has letters in it (ie FIP); use the number that is inside the parentheses
