Winter: Unlike the hot summer season, winter temperatures decrease as 10 degrees Celsius in January, the coldest month of the year, also being experienced at -2 degrees Celsius at night. The best time to experience the vibrancy of Rajasthan is between the months of October and March. The state of Rajasthan is well connected to all major cities of India by rail, road and air. By road: Proximity to several national highways, especially National Highway 8 (NH8), India's first 4-8 lane National Highway helps connect Rajasthan with all major parts of the country. Moreover, the State is also privileged with some state highways. Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation as well as some private operators serve this place.
