Care homes registered with the care quality commission to provide personal care Table 1 Rates for Bands B, C, P and F personal care rates Description 2020-21 from 2021-22 from 6/04/20 5/04/2021 Weekly Rate Weekly Rate Band B – High level of physical care needs. Note: £423.32 £430.73 This band is only paid for people placed in a care home before 11th April 2016 Band C - Specialist dementia care £615.42 £626.19 (intensive/complex): Standard rate Band C - Specialist dementia care £700.38 £712.64 (intensive/complex): Enhanced rate Band P - Frail with intensive/complex physical £528.27 £537.51 care needs: Standard rate Band P - Frail with intensive/complex physical £655.39 £666.86 care needs: Enhanced rate Band F - Person with mental health needs.
