The generalinformation it contains will provide a starting point for educatorswho are beginning their work in instructional computing. The referencesto applications of computing in the mathematics curriculumprovide information to beginners as well as to those with moreadvanced backgrounds. Efforts have been made to be selective,with the major criteria being how relevant the items appear inrelation,to the purposes of the guide and the currentness of the items.The guide is on a word-processing system, and will be updated andrevised semiannually. Section 1 contains sources of hardware, software,and other information.
