YES Ropes-In Two Senior Executives to further its ‘Technology Edge’

Appoints: •Amit Sethi – as Senior President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) •Venkat Krishnan - as Group Executive VP & Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Mumbai, June 22, 2012: , India’s fourth largest private sector Bank, has appointed two senior level executives in its ‘Technology Solutions Group’ to further strengthen its technology edge and help maintain the Bank’s overall growth trajectory. These appointments come at a critical phase of the Bank’s lifecycle as it is on the verge of completing two and a half years of Version 2.0, aimed at accelerated growth and evolving as a full service bank. •A) Amit Sethi joins YES BANK as Senior President and Chief Information Officer (CIO). He will be responsible for driving innovation projects, and developing strategic planning guidelines in accordance with the business strategy of the Bank. Additionally, he will leverage, as well as continue to build upon best-in-class technology as a key pillar and differentiator of YES BANK. Amit is an MBA in from Faculty of Management Studies (Gold Medalist) and B.E. from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He brings with him 16 years of hands-on experience at ICICI Bank where he was managing all the technology realms – infrastructure, security, operations, software development, applications within Corporate, Branch and domains. •B) Venkat Krishnan V joins YES BANK as Group Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer (CTO). He will be responsible for the entire Technology Infrastructure of the Bank and perfecting the Bank’s systems, processes, and controls that require optimum investment in technology to provide an agile, scalable and robust IT Infrastructure to support the Version 2.0 goals of the Bank. Venkat is an MCA from Government College of Engineering, Karad with Specialization in Software Engineering. He has 14 years of experience in Information Technology with focus mainly in Banking, Finance and Insurance domains. Prior to joining YES BANK, he was working with Dhanlaxmi Bank as Head of IT.
