The 20th century was driven by oil but this cen- tury is moved by digitization. That's the way it is all over the world these days. And this is well deserved because especially in the transport industry experts predict that the amounts of data will increase dramatically in the coming years. Digitization has become a mega-trend. But digitization is not an end in itself it helps the customer, but also has to succeed in the market as well. Last but not least, it has to fulfill the requirements of the user as well, as they are the ones that give the data its own identity. The whole point of the digitization is to make things easier for everyone.
So we have chosen our slogan for the coming year deliberately: "We love heavy missions ". With this in mind, I hope you enjoy reading our magazine and find it just as interesting and entertaining as me.

Dechant: I would like to pick up on the point of diversification of indust- ries and customers.
