TWO FIGURES IN TWO CATEGORIES Raphaela Toussaint compiled her team-leading fourth double-double in style, Jan. 23 against Quinnipiac. With Rider needing a stop down two with 38 seconds left, Toussaint grabbed her 10th rebound on the defensive end and was fouled with 23 seconds left. She made both free throws to complete her double-double and tie the game at 63-63, sending the game to overtime. In the extra session, Toussaint buried a three with 14 seconds left to put Rid- er up by five, essentially putting the game out of reach. MOBLEY MOVES INTO DOUBLE-DIGITS AGAIN Amanda Mobley scored in double figures in four of Rider’s first five games this season, but labored through a nine-game double-digit drought that also featured a two-game absence due to injury. She emphatically snapped that stretch with an 18-point, nine-assist performance in the Broncs’ 77-74 over- time win over Quinnipiac on Jan. 23. She did so in playing the full 45 min- utes, setting a new career high. DOUBLE-DOUBLE DUO Victoria Toomey and Raphaela Toussaint each posted double-doubles in the Broncs’ 65-62 victory over Saint Peter’s on Jan. 16. Toomey posted career highs of 18 points and 12 rebounds, while Toussaint upped her career high to 19 points along with 11 rebounds. It was Toomey’s first-career dou- ble-double and Toussaint’s third of the season.
