Jones earned the third all-NEC honor of his career last fall when he was voted a first team all-star following an outstanding campaign between the pipes for the Pioneers, who just missed out on a playoff berth. Jones finished the season with a 1.08 goals against average and four shutouts. He started every game in net for Sacred Heart from the moment he stepped on campus four years ago, ending his career with 71 matches, 30 wins, 21 shutouts and over 6,500 minutes played. He also had the rare distinction of a keeper scoring a game-winning goal in the 2008 season when he converted a penalty kick in a 2-1 double overtime win over Maine on September 5th. Jones, who was a second team all-conference selection as a freshman and first team honoree as a junior, calls Stoke-on-Trent, England home. He compiled a 3.63 grade point average majoring in Business. Returning NEC Scholar-Athletes Name School Yr.
