Top ten candidates securing highest score on academic record/ merit formula per vacancy shall be called for interview/ further assessment. In case of equal score, the candidate securing highest marks in last degree will be considered highest scorer. A. Academic Record/ Prescribed qualification For posts in total marks of academic record/ prescribed qualification are 30, which shall be determined as per following illustration: The academic marks of all the four examinations (Matric to prescribed qualification) are to be calculated as under: Sum of the marks obtained from Matric to prescribed qualification x 30 Sum of the total marks from Matric to prescribed qualification Illustration: To illustrate, if a candidate obtains 2400 marks out of 4000 marks in four examinations, his credit will come to 18 marks out of 30 marks. Decimals shall be rounded to zero. B. C. Experience i. Experience = 15 Marks; ii. While awarding experience marks for each post, the period of minimum requisite experience shall be deducted from total experience of candidate and thereafter four (04) marks per completed year shall be awarded for additional experience up to three (03) years. In case a candidate’s experience exceeds three years, then the credit thereafter shall be one mark for each completed year. The fraction of experience less than one year shall be ignored. iii. Experience shall mean the experience gained in a regular full time job required after obtaining the prescribed qualification. iv. Period spent on training/ study/internship/ apprenticeship shall not be counted as experience. v. Experience gained in a recognized institution shall be taken in to consideration if it is supported by valid documentary proof. D. Computer Proficiency/ Technical Skills of the relevant post The candidates shortlisted for interview shall be assessed by the Selection Board for computer/ technical skills. Each member of the Selection Board shall award marks to the candidate on the basis of assessment made by him through oral test/ questions relevant to the technical abilities required for the post. Average marks (sum of marks allocated by Board Members/ number of Board members) shall be taken as total marks secured by the candidate. E. Interview The candidates shortlisted for interview shall be assessed by the Selection Committee for their general aptitude, abilities and skills in the relevant field. Each member of the selection committee shall award marks to the candidate on the basis of assessment made by him through oral tests/ questions as relevant for the post. Average marks of all Members of Selection Board shall be taken as total marks secured by the candidate. Role Objective: General Manager Corporate Affairs is responsible for providing overall direction and overseeing the functions of Human Resource, Admin, Logistics & Procurement, Assets & Properties, Legal & Counsel, Budgeting & Reporting, Accounting, Company Secretarial services, IT solutions, process reengineering, data center, digital and E-tourism. Mode of Appointment: Direct recruitment on merit basis in accordance with applicable recruitment policy. Education, Experience, Age Requirements: Minimum Qualification & Experience: ACA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification or Master’s degree in Administrative Sciences or related field additional qualification or certification in tourism management will be preferred and 15 years of relevant experience preferably in tourism industry. Maximum Age Limit: 55 years Duties and Responsibilities: ➢ The General Manager (Corporate Affairs) will be the Executive Head of the respective wing and will be responsible for carrying out the functions assigned to the functional divisions under his Wing. Direct and oversee the strategy formulation exercise for the Asset Management function (PTDC managed properties) ensuring its alignment to the organizational objectives and operational priorities. Legal & Counsel Provide guidelines on PTDC legal affairs, necessary statutory compliance, and their legal implications and reach out to the panel of legal experts to provide strategic insight on new legislation/statutory regulations affecting tourism sector. Finance & Accounting and Budgeting & Reporting Direct and oversee the strategy formulation for the Accounts & Finance function, ensuring alignment to the objectives, strategy of the organization and statutory/legislative requirements. Oversee accounts of the corporation, audit inspections, compliance of rules/procedures, , investments, revenues, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit and control, and working capital cycle management including other related matters and render reports to MD/CEO on financial performance of the PTDC. IT Infrastructure, Process Reengineering & Data Centre Direct and oversee strategy/ frameworks for IT infrastructure and architecture. Direct and oversee the strategy to manage process automation projects including effective change management plan, Direct and oversee data center development, commissioning and start-up in line with the objectives and priorities and Provide directions for the effective delivery of data centre services. Review performance reports on data center services and provide recommendations for improvements. Digital Marketing Direct and oversee the development of digital marketing strategy to facilitate and foster tourism promotion and Provide directions for effective delivery of digital marketing activities and ensure alignment of related strategy/framework with top performing countries in accordance with operational objectives and priorities. Review performance reports on digital marketing activities and provide recommendations for improvements E-Tourism Direct and oversee the development of centralized database, online mobile application, website, and chatbots to facilitate and foster tourism promotion by bringing industry stakeholders on board in accordance with the strategic objectives and priorities.
