La comida preparada en la cocina del centro ha transformado por completo la dinámica de la comunidad. En 2006 abrimos el primer centro en Bantoli, una aldea en el noroeste de la India. Antes de su apertura los niños asistían a la escuela de forma irregular y la mayoría la abandonaban antes del sexto grado. Unos años después los primeros estudiantes terminaban secundaria y algunos fueron a la universidad. Los niños aprendían normas de higiene y su salud y la de sus padres mejoraba.
