The Goats and the Tiger : A board game that can be played between a visually challenged and a visually able child. Adu Huli > Individual Project Benchmarking : Establishing the current scenario Game board design - Iterations

A number of existing games for visually challenged children were studied and the gaps The original board Adu-Huli, an ancient game of Mysuru - were identified. One of the major gap was the number of games, that make a visually Complex in shape, challenged child interact with a sighted child are very few. Dicult to visualize as there are18 markers, Design Objective : To design an inclusive board game that can be played between More cognitive load, more strategising required as no die a visually challenged and a sighted child. The final design is very simple, symmetric in shape with only 7 playing markers, thus easy to map and is a combination of strategy and luck to reduce the cognitive load on the children

less interactive No feedback to just a conversion of visually challenged LUDO into braille Symmetric shape, 7 Playing Markers child Lesser cognitive load Easy to map Study of mental mapping pattern of visually challenged children The final Design object- object mapping How to kill a goat? Blow Ball

A blow game for differently abled children Blow-Ball > Internship Project - Design Head of a team of 4

An attempt to solve the drooling problem of the mentally challenged children with the Proposed Solution help of a fun filled game. The concept is similar to that of Basketball where in the aim of the player is to aim to throw the ball into the basket. Here similarly the children have to blow at the balls through the pipe into the basket.

The audio feedback, inclusivity of multiple players and level adjustment features are included. The levels can be increased or decreased by pulling or pushing the Shortfalls in the prototype and scope of improvement - basket up or down with the help of the two rods externally.

Audio feedback is needed when a ball falls into the centre basket

Peer interaction can be increased by making it a multi-player game

The final concept selected is based on the principle of holographic reflection. It consists of a pyramid shaped holographic reflector with multi angled planes mounted on a low wind vertical axis wind turbine. . The light reflected back by this pyramid disorients birds in flight by limiting their vision significantly. This causes the bird to deviate in flight and fly to another destination.
