ACTIVITIES WILL BE ALL ACROSS CAMP AND OPEN TO TROOPS, CREWS, AND EXPLORING POSTS TO TAKE THE CHALLENGE. IT WILL BE A MOSTLY OPEN SCHEDULE TO LET YOU DECIDE WHAT PROGRAMS YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN!

*All participants in the Adventure Tower Static Course must wear cotton type shorts or pants. A weight limit of 250lbs is strictly adhered to. Due to the limits we have with COVID-19, participation on the STATIC COURSE is limited to 40 people per session (am & pm).

Static Course “Golden Ticket”: Due to the limited number of harnesses we have and the COVID-19 cleaning protocols, we will be issuing just 40 tickets for each AM and PM session. The distribution of these tickets will be at the Scoutmaster and SPL meeting on Friday night. Please be sure to send representation from your unit to this meeting. Distribution priority will go to the youth first.

Swim Checks Pre-Camp swim checks are allowed! If you have documentation of a swim check done within the last year and the certification of a Lifeguard or Aquatics Supervisor, please bring it in person to a member of the Aquatics Team. Swim Checks will be done on site Friday 6:00-9:00PM. One unit is allowed per section of the pavilion. Please meet a member of the Aquatics Team at the front of the Aquatics Center and they will direct you where to go from there. Check-in Procedure The check in procedure begins with our COVID-19 Screening. Please be sure to print and fill out the necessary documents found as an attachment on the registration page and have them ready at the first check point before entering camp. https://scoutingevent.com/attachment/BSA083/document_15949045480_3515.pdf https://scoutingevent.com/attachment/BSA083/document_15983896030_4212.pdf These papers will be collected, your temperature will be checked and the appropriate wristband will be given prior to entering main camp. The next checkpoint will be where your registration will be verified, and you will be given your campsite and parking assignment. You will then proceed to that campsite to unload your gear. Please then return your vehicle to your assigned parking area as per the Lake County Fire Marshall, parking in the campsites is prohibited. Campsites Camp maintenance policy is that camp tents are used only at Summer Camp. Participants will need to bring their own tent & sleeping gear. Please note: campsite assignments will be done in such a way that all participants from the same unit will be in the same site. In some cases, you may be sharing the site with another unit.

Parking All vehicles must be parked in designated areas only. No vehicles, except emergency equipment and appointed staff, are allowed in camping areas without the consent of Camp Staff. All other vehicles must be parked in your assigned parking area – main parking, the sports field or the ATV field. One Unit Trailer may be left at the campsite, provided that the trailer hitch is properly flagged for safety and the vehicle is parked in your assigned parking area. Check-Out Procedures All Troops/Venture Crews are responsible for all trash and cleanliness of campsite before they check out.

Rules All Boy Scout of America Policies and Procedures, and Rules are to be followed while attending Camp La-No-Che. When in program areas (Pool, Shooting Sports, C.O.P.E., Climbing Wall, or Sports Area) you must obey the directions of the person in charge of the event. Failure to do so will result in expulsion and referral to the Camp Office.

Possession and/or use of alcohol, tobacco products or illegal drugs are not allowed at Camp La- No-Che. Privately owned of any type are not allowed at Camp La-No-Che (including guns, air guns, and rifles). Fireworks of any kind are not allowed. All the above are forbidden by national policy and are grounds for removal.

Latrines are adjacent to each campsite and include sinks, toilets, and showers. Each unit will be responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of their latrine facilities. An activity shelter and two leader’s rooms are available in each campsite, and their use is at the discretion of the leaders. There is no cooking permitted in the activity shelter. Fires are allowed in strict accordance with BSA standards. The use of liquid fuel for starting any type of fire is prohibited. Keep all open flames away from tents. All flammable vegetation must be removed from within 10 feet of fires. Firefighting tools (Shovels and/or water) must be nearby. Fires must be constantly attended and in the campsite fire ring only.

All garbage must be bagged and taken to the dumpsters. There are dumpsters at the entrance of each side of camp – adjacent to the main offices and the Trading Post.All Water will be supplied at activity areas, campsites, and dining hall. It is recommended that you bring canteens and/or water bottles for during the day.

Participants are encouraged to be in acceptable dress for the entire weekend. Boy Scout t-shirts are highly encouraged. BSA policy requires shirts must be worn at all times and no open toed shoes are allowed.
