It is very essential to learn the process parameter and the defect in the plastic pipe manufacturing process to optimize it. For the optimization Taguchi techniques is used in this paper. For the research work Shivraj HY-Tech Drip Irrigation pipe manufacturing, Company was selected. This paper is specifically design for the optimization in the current process. The experiment was analyzed using commercial Minitab16 software, interpretation has made, and optimized factor settings were chosen. After prediction of result the quality loss is calculated and it is compare with before implementation of DOE. The research works has improves the Production, quality and optimizes the process. Key word: Taguchi method, Design of experiment, Taguchi loss function, orthogonal array. I. INTRODUCTION Take off Speed Extrusion is any process in which a material is Temperatures force through a shaped orifice, with the material Vacuum Pressure solidifying to produce a continuous length of constant And Relative speed of auxiliary cross section. In most failures occur during the processing and these failures extrusion operations, however, the plastics arrive as cause some defects that canfound in extruded part. powders or pellets at room temperature, and the Following are the defects found in the extrusion extrusion process must melt the plastic and process homogenize it before it enters the die. Therefore, Uneven Wall thickness heating and melting the feedstock, converting it from Centering problem(off-center) a cold solid to a hot viscous liquid, accounts for about Diameter variation 93% of the energy required.
